About Me
Coming from a rural, small town on Vancouver Island up cycling was a way of life. Words such as “take it if you want” ignited our creativity and we headed home thinking of what supplies we had on hand to turn this “trash” into our new treasure.
Fast forward 20 years.
Formally educated in Economics and immersed in running three small businesses in Vancouver, my original dream was almost singularly focused on connecting our communities. Until I noticed a need to help lighten the financial pressure of participating in playful and creative expression in our homes and belongings. This realization ultimately lead me to establish Barter Buy & Sell.
